I love that his one question to Merkley was literally, "did your pants catch on fire?" Totally caught people off guard--and then he sold the laugh by calmly getting a glass of water and waiting for the answer.
What on earth is Merkley going to do in these debates? He really, really did not want to get to this point in the race and actually have to contend with Steve one on one--and that was a 5-person debate!
